in support of political prisoners on hunger strike in Turkey

In our very recent history we are faced, more than ever, with the facts that the oppressed and the downtrodden have nothing to lose in their struggle to achieve freedom and equality, except their chains. During this period, various forms of fascism have been systematically responsible for inhibiting the potential and actual movements of the oppressed: from nationalist fascism to religious fascism. And of course it should not be forget to mention that the liberal democracy has also its own fascistic character with their discriminating laws, educational systems and the trained police forces, which all together are in connection to troll of the Capital and for providing more profits for the "one percent" at the top. The system being dominated today on the destinies of the nations, not only is unable to provide equal human rights, while presenting that as a disgusting formality, but also in order to guarantee the interests of the untroubled rich part, divests much of the rights from many parts of the societies, and puts the opponents under repressions. Today in a large sections of the earth, the people are fighting to access to the most elementary rights and at the same time are repressed: the right to choose free life for refugees and asylum seekers, the right to determine the own destiny by the nations; the right to acquire minimum welfare and job security for the workers, the social rights and equality for women and etc.. Governments or more precisely, the local rulers of the global system, justify all aspects of repressive measures and approaches, by their own manipulated means. They speak in different languages and discourses about current trends of deprivation/control/suppression. As they say: it is because of the lessons of our excellent religion and the will of God, it is because of the benefits of our nation and the better density of our ancestral land, it is necessary to save our democracy or economic security (the security of the rich).
Accordingly, any kind of protest against the existing inequality from will be interpreted and labeled in advance, by the inherent guards of the system, as a revolt against the will and benefits of the public. By reviewing various articles and provisions related to the discriminatory laws in different countries, it will be revealed that regarding the existing capabilities of the mankind, the human societies have taken a huge step back from their historical achievements towards realizing freedom and equality. Particularly, the current structures of power, the necessity of unfair and discriminating laws is theorized and justified in very shameful methods by the army of experts and professionals. Then these fake discourses are imposed in nice packages upon the people, by the army of the state-affiliated intellectuals and journalists, through non-stop repetitions in mainstream media.

On the other hand, in addition to the structural violence hidden in laws and medial authority, governments enjoy another source of legal violence in form of police and army, which are used in necessary occasions. Of course applying this type of violence requires theoretical supports and legal justification, which are in turn provided by the religious and nationalist doctrines of fascism and also by the dogma of liberal democracy. Outstanding examples of this trend can be seen today in different forms: the military attacks and bombardments with the slogan of granting democracy, mass executions and genocide with religious and nationalist claims, oppressing the lower-class struggles and people rights to rule their own destinies, on the name of the battle against terrorism. The general formula in all these suppressions is described as: "whoever who is not obeying us is against us!" In this way, any action for achieving a discarded right is pictured as an anti-government action, namely is regarded as a criminal. In this situation, surrounded by such an impasse, it is not surprising that hunger-strike becomes the only available armament to the political prisoners to keep their resistance and to express in public the contents and intentions of their resistance.
The fact that currently many political activists in different countries are imprisoned, regardless of the formal reasons of their detentions, which is related to the local political circumstances, indicates that the dominating system in all its appearances as different governments is compelled to extinguish the voice of the opponents. For example, today about one thousand political prisoners in Turkey and nine female political prisoners in Iran are on hunger strike. Both groups have challenged the fascist systems: nationalist fascism in Turkey government and religious fascism in Iran.
Since we, consider our movement as part of the global struggles of the workers and the oppressed towards freedom and equality, we find ourselves in alliance with the hunger-striking prisoners in Turkey and Iran, as well as with the hunger-striking asylum seekers in Australia, and hereby, we announce our solidarity and alliance with them. We also warn the respective governments that they will be accounted responsible for any possible harm to the health of the hunger- striking prisoners and asylum-seekers in these countries. In the same context, we plea all awaking lives and independent groups to do their best efforts for protecting the mentioned hunger-strikers and to help them fulfill their right demands. We are together able to put the European governments and international societies under pressure for abandoning their indifferent and double-standard behaviors with this respect and replacing that with transparent measures. Regarding the close relationships between the governments of Germany and Turkey, we should warn here the German government that we, striking asylum-seekers, are carefully observing their political reaction to the danger threatening the hunger-striking prisoners in Turkey and we will consider this reaction as an essential part of the general treatment of German government to our own protests, because for us the way of treatment to such fundamental issues could not be split to different standards. Hence, the way of reaction of German government to the situation of hunger-striking prisoners in Turkey will directly influence our judgments about the formal promises given from German government as initial response to our protests. This behavior will in turn directly affect our decisions for the future forms of our street protests.
Solidarity and Battle!
